Another tutorial.
Make this icon:
Using PSP9
Note: No brush downloading is required. All aspects are hand done.

 -  Our base. (If your base is not black and white, just desaturate.)
-Select your pen tool and use the following settings.
 -  (Dot, WIDTH=2.00)
- Begin to trace on around your figure like so:
-  (I zoomed in. Sorry for the size) Your line does NOT have to be perfect. PSP9 fixes it.
-  Repeat this step in a different color as I have done if you like.
-  VIOLA! Your finished product.

*I hope this was easy to understand? I went through it fairly quickly.
*Any questions, go ahead and ask. I'd love to see what you guys made =)

Other icons I've made using the technique.

Feel free to use anyone of these icons. Credit, please.

EDIT: For anybody having problems with their lines, make sure your color setting's look like this: Image hosting by Photobucket

You need to make sure your secondary color is set to transparent. Hope that helps, I'm not sure how to explain how to do that.

Hmm...I'm not familiar with PS7, but the one thing I can suggest is looking to see if PS7 has a tool similar to the pen tool (Or if it has the pen tool) and then go from there.

Sorry, I know I'm not alot of help when it comes to that. . . =)
